Many Americans do believe climate change is real, and compared with a decade ago, more and more Americans are starting to believe that protecting and dealing with environmental issues should be top priorities for the government. However, there is still an alarming amount of people that don’t know about climate change and/or chose to not believe.

According to a statistic found online, only 69% of Americans believe that global warming is happening. Additionally, about one in five or 19% Americans say they “don’t know” how many people think global warming is actually happening. This shows that many Americans are unaware of the issues regarding climate change. This is why infographics can be so important, they can educate people unaware of the effects or even presence of global warming.

Additionally, there have been some ties to the amount of education to whether or not someone believes climate change is real. This shows that lack of opinion in climate change can also do with someone’s personal life. And keeping people informed can be integral in making decisions that will affect everyone. Also, many US adults disagree about the amount of attention the federal government pays attention to environment issues. For example, some say the government should do more to protect water and air quality, while others say the government should pay more attention to protecting animals, habitats and national parks. On the other hand, from another report, about 62% of Republican adults say that these policies do more harm than good.

These are just statistics, however, everybody has the ability to change something in the world. Change can start from something as small as simply educating people by handing out infographics.
