Meet the Blog Writers!

Michael is a sophomore at Los Altos High School. Among the issues the planet faces, he is especially concerned about the loss of biodiversity and light pollution. In his spare time, Michael enjoys running, swimming, watching YouTube, cooking food, eating said food, and listening to music. Prior to the pandemic, he would also travel in the Bay Area with his friends. He’s excited to see you all at the 2021 SFGHS Conference!

Tasha is in eleventh grade and is an activity chair of the LAHS Green Team. She’s passionate about raising awareness for deforestation and climate change. In her spare time, Tasha enjoys learning new languages, listening to music, and playing with her dog. She also likes breaking out into song randomly with her sister.

Aarthi is a freshman attending Los Altos High School. She is particularly interested in the climate crisis, sustainable eating, and water conservation. In her free time, Aarthi enjoys singing, baking, acting, and tinkering. She also loves to take photos.

Mallory is a ninth grader at LAHS. Environmental policy and the effect the climate crisis has on biodiversity are issues she’s dedicated to. Some of her hobbies include cooking, watching tv shows, listening to music, and connecting with her friends.

Hannah is a ninth grader at Los Altos High. She’s committed to diminishing the use of plastic and food waste. Hannah enjoys drawing/painting, listening to music, watching tv shows and hanging out with friends during free time. She also really loves to bake and bullet journal when she can.
